Biography
On a sunny afternoon, members of a Wind Clan gathered around a single egg. They were babysitting for another clan, who had found the lost egg, as they were getting everything ready for the newborn. Hopefully they were ready as today was the day it would hatch. Everyone was excited, curious and anxious. Excited and curious to see what the baby would look and be like. Anxious because it had been lost or abandoned, any number of things could or would be wrong with the hatchling. The egg looked and felt healthy, but one could never tell what went on inside the egg.
In any case, they would find out today. Cross that. Now.
They watched closely as the egg began to move and tremble. Movement could be heard from the inside as the little one poked and prodded to get out. Little ones from the clan moved closer to the egg as crackling sounds were heard, their eyes wide as they watched the egg begin to open. It took a few more seconds for it to crack and fall open, revealing the beauty inside.
It was a little Tundra girl. Her body was as white as snow and her wings a beautiful caramel color and the tuft of hair down her head and back a ginger color. Her eyes were the most beautiful. A deep emerald color. The clan 'oo-ed' and 'ahh'd' over her, the younger ones moving in to coo and cuddle with her. One of the older ones asked if they could keep her, half jokingly and half seriously. An elder chuckled, replying that they couldn't but perhaps could visit.
After a long day of playing and getting fawned over, the little Tundra yawned. An elder said it was time to let it sleep as it would have a bit of a journey back home. Everyone reluctantly went to bed, leaving the hatchling with the other little ones and two of the Nesting Grounds Keepers.
As the Tundra fell asleep a Light Goblin crept up and cuddled with her, keeping her warm. When the other Wind Clan came to pick her up, the two were cuddling and so two left with the Clan, their future bright ahead of them.
