The first semi-functional Emberoid created after the original failed attempt. So named for the unfortunate issues of its design, most notably the malfunctioning wing vents. Prone to random chemical outbursts and clogs typically preceded by a series of unpleasant clunking noises, it will never see use in battle. Its unreliability poses too much of a threat to allies while also being too valuable to lose to enemies in the early stages of the experiment.

CLUNK remained a seldomly activated statue within Magma's laboratory, until it was eventually stolen while in its inactive state. Thus, this basic and clunky mess of an Emberoid allowed for other instances of Emberoid PROTOTYPES to appear within laboratories and armies of other flights.
