Entrusted with the task of guarding her clan leaders' eggs, Vigilance had failed miserably. Trickery on part of a rival clan left her post empty. Taking the opportunity the rival clan destroyed the eggs, leaving Vigilance at fault. She was swiftly excommunicated from her clan and left for dead. Fortunately for her The Travelling Festival Division had spotted her in their journey through the Fire domain. They swiftly took her in and tended to her wounds. At first agitated, Vigilance eventually befriended the group of misfits. As time went on she took on the roll of their familiars shepherd. In hopes of repaying her self imposed debt to the group.
Emberglow Hearth
In the eastern region of the Ashfall Waste, magma vents are gentle and free of the volatile pressure troubling the rest of the realm. Small fiery pools form, attracting edible salamanders and fireflies and providing natural open-hearth furnaces, ideal for apprentice metalworking dragons. Able to supply both utility and sustenance in vast quantities, the Emberglow Hearth is a popular starting point for fledgling lairs.

"Dahlia is the sole reason I survived my expulsion. Had it not been for her I would've rotted away in that ashen wasteland. Not that I wouldn't have preferred that. This group has made me nothing short of a joke. Although it does have its exceptions, one of them being Dahlia. The only dragon of whom I've let myself closer to, not by choice. She saved my life at the very least I can amuse her midnight ramblings. Which seems to have shifted into an annoying nightly occurrence, sometimes keeping me up late into the twilight hours. Yet for as much as it irritates me I find myself wishing she had stayed just a little longer each night".
"I wouldn't necessarily consider Nephrite a friend, just someone that's easy to tolerate. Easy in a sense of we speak as little as possible to one another. She tends to her duties and I tend to mine. If our paths happen to meet then our outcome goes as smoothly as possible. There's no frivolous conversation only getting the task at hand done. I can appreciate someone for a trait such as that. Many seem to be lacking it especially this group. How they acquired such a strong headed worker I have no explanation".

"Apparently Grace had been the one to discover me. Dahlia informed me she had consistently stayed by my side as I recovered. To be quite honest the only memory I have of her is when I first awoke. Being greeted by a giant Imperial looming over me was not the wisest of decisions, as I regrettably attacked her. All I remember is many dragons lunging for me after that moment. Being restrained by them I regained my bearings. Clearly I had made a mistake and swore to make it up to Grace and hopefully restore my dignity. Our relationship has remained cold since that day".
