Q: [leans in close and whispers to Kemeul]
Hey, hey Kemeul... You got any good gossip about the council? I'm sure you know quite a bit about what they get up to when they think no one's looking...
A: Raising one eyebrow, Kemuel gave you an almost offended look. "I may look soft and cuddly," she began taking a step back. "But I'm not going to risk my career - my life, just to sate your curiosity."
The spiral looked very cozy, with her clothing being fluffy, and warm, and all. She still glowered at you, bright red eyes narrowed into accusing slits. "Are you asking this to get info on our clan? On Plaquin? What's your motive, here, huh?" She hissed under her breath, obviously not wanting to risk getting caught even speaking about this.
Her eyes kept flicking up and behind your shoulder, at the cliff-face where there were many shallow and deep caverns scattered along the side of it - most of the clan lived in those, while others chose to stick to the ground below the cliff, or above it, on the mountain.
"I will tell you, however," Kemuel mused, voice growing even quieter. "That most of the council hate being spoken about behind their backs. A lot of them worked hard to get where they are, and us speaking of them without them knowing, whether it be for good or not, most become fearful of their authority being threatened."
With pursed lips turned down into a thin line, the spiral fluttered her wings, stretching them out nervously. "You might want to watch your back, now, though. I will be doing so as well. Plaquin sees.. everything." And she was off, taking flight - a small bundle of fluffy clothing and small wings, up and towards one of the smaller cave entrances.
