Biography

Maul can often be seen curled around her master's feet, jaws wired shut, a faint hostility always present in those glassy eyes.
. .. .

Many years ago, Argne purchased Maul in nothing short than an under-handed way from a cheery Lightning clan. The skewed Original's intentions were dark, and the hatchling suffered tremendously under his wicked claws. By the time it reached breeding age, the fight had been stolen from its innocent, beating heart.
Maul was one of the first in Argne's program to produce enhanced fighting mirrors for his bloody coliseum endeavors. She remained a favorite of Argne throughout the years, and he often paired himself with her when the clan was in need of exaltation children. It was a twisted and dirty business, one he kept locked carefully away from public scrutiny. He eventually paired her with one of her offspring's daughters as a final product, claiming she was an original, just the same as him, in the lifeblood of what would soon be an empire of fighting machines and should be preserved accordingly. Of course, that didn't stop him from pouring molten gold into her bones.
. .. .

"This is wrong." The older dragon whispered, lean snout wrought with disgust.
""Is it? They're mirrors, not dragons. They love fighting right? Argne just gave them the means to fight harder."" Her younger companion buffed, eyes trained on the two sleeping creatures. They'd been bred down from fighters, to be fighters, and even in rest they were terrifying. Identical save for the odd hue, surgically implanted horns curling securely around their skulls, gold welded both into their flesh and hung in rungs around their dangerous bits, colossal wings folded haphazardly. But the most horrific of all was the electricity sizzling beneath their skin, the constant scent of burning dragon meat and feathers, the way both the observers had witnessed it come to life; screaming, sizzling, white-hot to the touch when triggered by Argne.
"They're hurting. " The senior murmured, eyes heavy on their heaving chests.
"No more than how much those they've hunted hurt."
Maul's eyes snapped open, wild, bulging, white, and crackling with energy. Startled, the onlookers shuffled off.
"Help me."
