A hatchling of Pride and one of the main competitors to the leader role, placing him in confrontation with his Father. Shadblow is the current leader of the clan’s hunting pack, which has resulted in him becoming stronger than his father; but only physically. Pride feels the young dragon has much to learn regarding leading a clan; it is not just down to pure strength.

Shadblow has little to no respect for the other clans, leading to many spats. While this has not led to anything serious so far, Pride believes it will force the clan into war if Shadblow takes over. While one of the strongest dragons in the clan, Shadblow is not liked by many outside his hunting parties and many would retaliate if he made a grab for the alpha role. This is all that keeps him in check.

Unknown to many, Shadblow is not as power-hungry as he appears. Rather, he wants to lead the clan to prosperity like his father has, and nothing will stop him from proving that.
