Torn and Riven, Head of Subclan Diplomacy

"Ivories for Intelligence,
Obsidians for Stealth,
Orcas for death's experiences
And often hightened health,
The Aurums, bright as sunshine,
with a golden tongue of wit,
And the final Clan Cerulean,
Hunters of greatest fit!"

The Cerulean Crisis
Since the very beginning of the subclan's conception, the Ceruleans flexed their prowess as proud and capable hunters. They were masters of the hunt in every aspect. From forging effective and beautiful weapons, to tanning and producing rare and exquisite products from the flesh, skin, and bodies of only the most elusive game, they quickly gained high standing within Talosian Society as not only Hunters, but as artisans.

Yet, there was one Cerulean who would change all of that. His name has been forgotten by most of the other clans, but his legacy stains their lives three generations after his death. He had convinced, or perhaps tricked, his clan into stealing an egg of unknown origins. In stealing the egg he had invoked the wrath of something foul, and in the face of danger had offered up the other Talosian Clans in exchange for his own safety. He spun a lie to his clan mates and released a curse upon the other Talosians, and watched as his friends and family burned from the inside out, the curse eating them away until they were naught but bone.

The Talosians were crippled. This new death was indiscriminate. Young or old. Healthy or sick. The Curse would strike when least expected...except for the ceruleans....
For this injustice all Ceruleans serve a debt to Talosian Society. Until the age of 20 they hunt for them, provide food and drink, and maintain an air of respect towards their curse-inflicted peers. As the curse dies so does the need for redemption, and many pray for a quick end to both the pain of the curse, and the debt Cerulean descendants endure...
