RAIN
Once upon a sorrowful time
I became yours and you became mine Rain hails from a very large and prestigious clan, and his personality suits it. Though not outwardly antagonistic (most of the time), Rain is incredibly observant and wickedly intelligent. Though he usually prefers to stay silent and watch, his tongue is sharp when he deigns to use it. As such, most of the hatchlings and more sensible dragons avoid him, lest they fall victim to his cruel temperament. That said, there is one dragon who finds it quite intriguing to interact with Rain in whichever way possible, be it talking or eating together or playing a very one-sided game of hide and seek. The persistent drake is far from giving up, however... such a thing simply isn't in Gihro's nature. |

LORE Being a Gaoler, Rain is designated as one of the clan's protectors in times of crisis; though he would never reveal such a weakness aloud, one of the few things that cause him to become uneasy is the presence of death. He can smell it when it approaches, feel its cold claws rake down his spine when something dies in the vicinity. The oldest drakes in his previous clan whispered of the strange, ghostly pair that arrived on their doorstep one day, and of the cold, unblinking hatchlings they produced. But they were beautiful, and selling them to other clans gained significant wealth, so they said nothing. But no one truly knows where they came from, or why their skin never grew warm and their eyes, so pale as to almost be white, never seemed to blink. For all who have met him, Rain is a startling comparison; he moves constantly, a swish of his tail or a flick of his wings, and many in his old clan thought him quite personable, compared to his parents and siblings. But in the deep winter, when the air was harsh and death was near, the stillness fell over even him. But the thing most odd about Rain then wasn't his body language or sudden silence- it was the deep, penetrating fear that they saw reflected in his strange, white eyes.
