When the Flamecaller willed this clan into existence, Syrinx was gifted with five special familiars. The Boolean, the prized bee, stayed along his side. But the others deserved dragons each as unique as each other. The lands of Sornieth were searched far and wide for dragons who could produce these four special dragons.

Two golden Pearlcatchers traveled to the Sunbeam Ruins to breed. One perfect dragon was born, and Jaundice was led to the Ashfall Wastes. Here she was gifted with her Golden Idol, and she was welcomed by Syrinx and the rest of his clan. Though she was born in Light, this dragon was destined to serve the fiery god.

Jaundice, like the other special dragons, severs as a priestess to the Flamecaller. She helps guide fellow clan members to better serve her.
