Biography

Sharp claws ran along the blade of a finely crafted rapier. Ark smiled down at her newest creation and twisted the beautifully engraved sword in her paws, carefully admiring her own work. 'We will not bow' was neatly written in the clean metal. The young Mirror chuckled, knowing that the now white blade would soon be colored a beautiful dark red. She looked up as she heard her curtains move and another dragon enter her shop.

"Is it done?" a raspy female voice asked behind her. Ark turned around, smiling at the young Wildclaw and nodded. "It was a challenge to engrave the blade, but I do think that the outcome is more than satisfying." Ark spoke, handing the pristine sword to the brown dragon in front of her. The young Wildclaw turned the sword in her paws and ran a claw over the neat engraving, smiling at the neatly written words. "It is perfect, how much do I owe you?" the Wildclaw asked, keeping her gaze on the sword.

"You, my dear Timber, don't owe me anything for it. It is your destiny to do great things. You may not think much of my words now, but you will understand one day..." Ark said, internally giggling at the confused expression of the young dragon in front of her, knowing that she would realize what Ark had meant one day. Timber opened her mouth to say something, but Ark shushed her with a flick of her tail. "Now get out of my shop, I have other things to do!" the old Mirror said, turning away from the confused Wildclaw.

Ark smiled to herself as Timber left and picked up a few golden coins before heading outside. She adjusted her glasses and looked around, making sure nobody would follow her and started walking away from her shop towards the opening of a large cave. Ark took a last look around before heading into the caverns. Soon she came to a large room, spiderwebs decorated the walls and she could see two dragons sitting on a table. The old Mirror smiled, walking towards the two cave dwelling dragons. The black Mirror turned to look at Ark. "I had started to think you wouldn't come today, Ark." she spoke. Her voice was quiet, but it held a hidden danger.

"Oh come on Spider, you knew I'd always come." Ark chuckled and sat down at the table next to the two black dragons. The old dragon looked over to the Fae sitting next to Spider, but Aym was simply staring into the air, fixating some invisible spot, her many eyes blinking every now and then. "So, what did you bring me today?" Spider asked curiously, causing Ark to chuckle. The brown Mirror dropped the coins onto the table and watched as the spider-like dragon quickly picked them up.

"She was with you, you have given her the sword. She will begin the ritual soon." the Fae suddenly spoke, startling the other two dragons slightly. Ark's eyes widened slightly and she quickly got out her notebook to write down whatever the Fae spoke next. "She will find the child and the ancient. Trying to keep the Shade away, but achieving the opposite. They will bring the end of time, they mustn't be stopped. It has already begun. He will come and He will fulfill the prophecy!" Aym spoke, getting louder with every word she spoke before dropping onto the table unconscious. "Which prophecy?!" Ark asked terrified.

"I have no idea, you have the notebook with everything she's said so far." Spider sighed, picking up the motionless Fae. "I know, but she hasn't said anything about a prophecy as far as I know..." the old Mirror said. "Then come back tomorrow, maybe Aym can tell you then!" Spider told her before carrying Aym into another cave, leaving Ark alone with her thoughts and questions.
