Biography
Currently, Umai holds the role of Clan Mother; due to her, well, motherly nature. She also enjoys cooking in her spare time (which is a lot, due to having more than plenty hunters and gatherers). A few things to consider before reading one or two of Umai’s dishes;
”Here in Plague we’re clearlynot masters of fine dining, but sadly the clan has only recently started up so most dishes are essentially what happens with when you have plenty of ideas but abysmal culinary talent, and nearly non-existent decent food sources. 100% not for those with mild tastes or high expectations.”

So, what the ‘Outcrop Over There’ clan currently serves its dragons (other than the usual scavenged carcasses and festering plants (using the term loosely here), are;
- ”You’ve Barked Up The Wrong Tree!” - V
A form of juice made by stripping away the healthiest and finest trees’ bark (only a small piece, don’t worry), or whatever qualifies as bark in Plague, and digging out the wood and sap underneath, then putting it into a nicely carved cup of bone. We’re not sure what creature this bone belongs to, but oh well.
After, the wood and sap are squashed and mashed together to form a kind of sludge. Add totally safe water, mixmaybe crush it a bit more, and then you’re done! Does this taste nice? Not it in slightest! So far it has been used to wake up the dragons quite well. But that could make them sick! Well, if this ‘drink’ does that, something else would have done it anyways~
- ”It’s Probably Dead, But Chew It A Few Times Anyways...”
A day out with the clan; hunting, foraging, scavenging, etc, can be incredibly tiring! So when the dragons get back they expect something that can knock them out! ...since most of the clan isn’t Plague-borne, and they still aren’t very used to the famously putrid air of Plague. It makes sleeping very difficult!
So, what do the dragons whip up? A hearty meat dish! This consists of any of the meats that were gathered earlier on in the day, ranging from tough lean meats to not-so-tough and lean meats. It’s a simple dish, since all the dragons have to do is cook the meat via flames, then crush a few insects over it so it’s not all too dry. A very bitter dish, and certainly very chewy!
