Biography

20181024_graphic1_by_death_in_the_orchard-dcqadff.png

The tapping of the claws, the radiant lights, the surge of dragons grasped by an uncontrollable fear or inspiring awe. Verisuon could sense it all, he could feel the energy rushing and twisting about him even as he took a rest amongst the crowd. His claws gingerly tapping at a cool bowl of dragon fruit lit aflame. Small chuckles emitted throughout his brain as he observed the panicked or nervous nature dragons, who often ducked below their tables when her fire left the stage.

Aquila, such a beautiful creature… She was always so happy and yet so sad. Her emotions contradicting the façade she portrayed as she behaved erratically and joyously for the entertainment of the eyes on her. It almost seemed as though he was the only one who could tell what she really felt, other Skydancers just stared in confusion. Had she downed a herbal concoction to confuse them and to hide her emotions? But no, the constant leaps in her emotions and violent rebounds that contradicted her smile were all to real. How could they miss it? How could they not see her internal struggle? Perhaps it was all to muddled, to confusing for them to understand.

He stood to his claws and graciously strutted down the walkway towards Aquila’s stage. Sure, he was going to interrupt her performance… but how could he let her perform when she was in such pain? There were so many risks, so many erratic movements as the flames burned her talons and scarred her hands. He couldn’t allow such a marvelous creature to suffer by those flames.

“Will you permit me to join you?” he questioned with a longing glint in his eyes and a calm frown amongst his face. The Guardians standoffishly blocking his way only moving aside in silence once Aquila replied with glee.
The fire encircled them, his heart beating precariously within his chest as the flame spiraled around them and covered them both in a warming glow. They circled each other, bodies pressed together and eyes locked as they danced among the fire. The dance that had once been erratic and daring now calm and serene as Aquila’s eyes stared back in his.
There was a moment of tranquility within her throbbing heart as a subtle beat enraptured his senses. Her gentle breath wafted over the sensitive crystal between his antennas as the world around them began to fade. He shuddered for just a moment, before their lips had locked and their pain faded away.
