Having seen his nestmates violently eaten at an early age, Revere understandably suffered some psychological damage. He's open about it, and prone to making light of awful things like blood sacrifice and how much the beast clans enjoy devouring tender skydancer hatchlings. But Revere learned early on that if he wanted to survive in a vicious world, he would have to become the more ruthless predator. While his clan was supportive, and he was rescued and treasured by his devastated parents, Revere began to study the darker arts under the tutelage of one of the clan mercenaries. His parents aren't thrilled, but they are supportive, because he is their only surviving son. Revere is cheerful, softspoken, and very helpful to his clanmates. Need herbs? He'd be happy to fetch them. Want help carrying something heavy? He'll do his best! Need a day away from the hatchlings? Sure, he'll watch them, keep them safe, and tell them all kinds of horror stories that will give them terrible nightmares and have them back asking for more. It's only in combat where he gains a manic edge that often causes his victims to die...colorfully. Revere isn't bothered by the dual-aspects of his personality. His clanmates, however, are a little concerned. After all, he is very good at summoning blood geysers.
