Thunderbolt

This dragon wears her name with pride and never ceases to remind others of her capabilities and her strength. Wherever she goes, the air around her seems to be filled with electricity, buzzing and cracking loudly. Touching her often causes little bursts of electricity to jump from her to whoever is touching her and many a dragon has learned their lesson the hard way.

Though Thunderbolt is able to control the electricity flowing through her body, she cannot stop it entirely. The strength of the electric currents can vary depending on her mood and her self-control. If severely distressed or angry, she is incapable of controlling it, causing dangerous flashes of electricity to shoot out from her body, often harming others around her without meaning to. When in control of her body, she is capable to create powerful electrical currents and attack her foes with powerful lightning bolts.

She is generally known as a hothead, quickly angered or offended, easily competing with Io in every way. In fact, these two can be found arguing about the most insignificant of things on a daily basis, sometimes leading to them shouting profanities at each other until someone steps in and stops them. Thunderbolt has felt a strong dislike towards Io and Hawthorn ever since she met them and never understood why Aria agreed to take them in.

Thunderbolt is also usually the first one to start gossip, spreading myths and lies about others, though rarely with the intention to hurt anyone. She is quick to assume and judge others and she has a hard time changing her first impression about someone, especially if that impression is a negative one.

She shares a profound bond with her adoptive daughter Nemesis, whom she raised together with her mate Fulgor before he passed away. The two can often be seen sitting together, sharing stories, grooming each other or gossiping about their clan mates, a surprising sight for anyone who only knows her as the raging pearlcatcher who shouts at others.
