He's always wondered about his family's origins. Although born and raised in the green forests of natureflight, his birth clan's roots lay within the ocean depths. Curiosity over the shoreside intrigued him enough to decide to go on a trip to see the place his parents came from.

Along the way, the spiral ended up in Earth flight territory. From a chance encounter, a friendship blossomed with 'Cali', a prince. He lingered longer than he planned to in Earth territory before confessing to his friend that he would be continuing his journey to the shore and asking if he would like to come along with him. Of course, had Fiorello known that his friend was of royal blood- one who was going to be married in a week no less - he wouldn't have had the courage to ask. For surely royalty had more important responsibilities than accompanying him?

But Fio had remained entirely oblivious to his friend's heritage, and thus he had ended up asking Cali to come along, unknowingly becoming a prince-abductor in the eyes of many.
