Biography

"Doesn't it trouble you to send your children to their end?" Her consort's horrified tone was lost on Prism. She looked from the nest where her latest hatchlings slept soundly to the troubled mirror who had gotten up to pace nervously.

"They are meant to serve," she said simply. "We are all meant to serve."

While she feels very little emotional attachment for other dragons, Prism does have a reputation for taking a liking to certain male dragons and adopting them as her consorts for a time. She is often done with them just as quickly, the spark hot but exceedingly brief.

Prism is the sort of dragon who rarely asks questions. She does what she is told if the dragon doing the telling has her respect. One such dragon is Hel, the queen of Tva'Kadith, and Hel's mate Cadelus. These two dragons command Prism's life and possess her unquestioning loyalty and obedience. Prism considers it an honor to send her children into the Plague Mother's service, to the point where every child is named Tahree or Tahaar, which means "servant of the Mother" in her birth clan's mostly forgotten tongue. She is never cruel to her hatchlings, often being quite protective of them. However, she does not lavish them with affection and is distant, giving them what they need to survive and no more.
