Hex comes off as rather haughty and reserved, which probably isn't the furthest thing from the truth... although, she and Tarrus both know that she seems that way to the others because they don't quite grasp the way the two Faes interact. They also don't seem to realize that, of the clan, Hex has easily led one of the hardest lives.

Saved from the Auction House by Velia, Hex was near death and a mess when she joined the clan. She has a hard time trusting others- Tarrus being the exception- and prefers to keep to herself rather than interact with the other adult dragons in the clan.

Whenever a hatchling, or more than one, pops up, however, Hex is quick to volunteer for babysitting duty. Having raised a slew of her own offspring, she adores the wee things- even when the wee things are many times her size. She's a bit closer to the hatchlings she spent a lot of time with in the clan than the dragons she didn't interact with as hatchlings, but even so remains a bit distant once they're grown.
