그녀는 늑대의 모습을 하고있으나 어딘가 모르게 다른것이 섞인것만 같다. 딱 보기에도 곁에 다가가기 힘든 포스가 느껴지나, 그녀가 당신과 눈을 맞춘다면 사람좋은 미소를 지으며 다가올것이다. 그러곤 말하겠지..

"저기~ 있지, 괜찮으면 내 염주 좀 끊어주지 않을래?"
무슨일 때문인지 겹겹이 힘을 봉인당한 늑대. 완전한 늑대가 아닌 반쪽짜리 늑대이다. 그렇기에 다른 늑대들과 다르게 모량이 적다. 아마 무슨 요괴와 늑대의 혼혈인듯 한데, 바로 그 요괴쪽이 문제였던 모양. 아비인지 어미인지 모를 그 요괴의 힘을 물려받아 강력한 힘과 요력을 가지고 있지만 조절을 하지 못했던듯 하다. 그렇기에 그 힘을 두려워한 신들에 의해 봉인당했다고 전해진다. 지나가던 이, 그 누군가라도 좋으니 자신의 염주 즉, 봉인을 풀어달라 청한다. 하지만 명심하라. 봉인을 풀어주면 당신이 어떻게되든 그 누구도 책임지지 않는다는 것을. 제 한몸을 건사할수 있다면 봉인을 풀어주어도 무방하다. 그 뒤에 이 늑대가 날뛰는것을 막을수 있겠는가.

평소엔 사람을 홀리기 쉽게 인간의 모습으로 다니며, 그 외향은 마치 서양의것과 같이 수려했다. 동양국인 이 나라에서 쉬이 볼수없는 외모라 홀리기 십상이다. 게다가 유창한 동양어를 구사하는 언변이란.. 사람을 홀리는 능력에 사람들 사이에선 반쪽피가 가히 구미호와 같더라 라고 입소문을 타고있다. 구미호든 천호든 여우의 피가 섞였다면 적은 모량도, 사람을 홀리는 능력도 모든것이 설명이 되었다. 그러나 이러한 외모에 늦은밤 숲을 거닐고있는 모습은 그로테스크 했으며 정상이라 부를 수 없었다. 최근들어 사람들을 낚기 힘들어지자 뭐든 좋다며 인간이 아닌것들에도 손을 대고있는 모양이다.

자신의 염주를 끊어주지 않는 인간들을 그냥 보내주는가하면 그것도 아니였다. 제 심기를 거슬렀다는 이유로 무참히 찢어발겨졌으며 그 시신은 들개들의 먹이로 던져졌다. 아주 가끔 살아남은 사람의 말을 들어보면 자신의 언변에 뒤지지않는 뛰어난 설득실력을 가진 사람은 살려주는듯 보인다. 그리고 기분이 좋은날에도 살아날 확률이 높아지겠지. 이것이 계속되다보니 현재엔 염주를 끊는것보단 상대의 언변을 보는 재미로 지나가는이를 붙잡는거같은 느낌이 강하게 든다.

늑대의 이름은 '젠' 혹은 '제니'라고 불리는데, 사실은 제니퍼가 풀네임이다. 하지만 늑대의 풀네임을 아는이는 극히 드물다. 딱히 드러내지 않을뿐더러 알려주고싶지도 않으니까. 만약 그녀의 이름을 알고있는자가 있다면 아주 특별한 존재일테지. 이를테면, 꼭 자신의 손으로 죽이고픈자 라던가- 자신의 염주를 끊어주었으면 하고 간절히 바라는자라던가. 아니면 반드시 잡아먹고싶은자 라던가.
