Long ago, a young Wildclaw sailed the Sea of a Thousand Currents as part of a small crew. Hit by a terrible storm, the ship sank, plunging its crew to the bottom of the depths. The crew all died, including the Wildclaw. And yet he found himself still sentient: an undead wight lurking the depths. There he wandered for many a season, learning the secrets of the sea, absorbing its wisdom.

Then one day he came across another shipwreck. Seeing that the captain still lived, Atlantis wished to spare the dragon his same lonely fate. He rescued Veight and brought him to Brightwing. Now, Atlantis is revered as one of their Five Sages. But the undead Wildclaw is seldom seen on shore.
