current idea is because autopilot's extended lore on the breed this skin is supposed to represent has them being extremely endangered and being sent to live with other dragons, her breed is basically near extinct and she's probably looking for signs of their past civilization or something, that's probably what the serpent shrine is about
has a voice like emperor skekso but with a much harsher, hoarser, more snarly growly animalistic edge

old idea for osme kidn of half-gifcomic half-story thing called A(interpunct dot here)Nihilus (potentially dialogueless, interspersed text with panels and gif dividers) that explores in a lonely still quiet introspective silent way what it's like to be the oly one left of your forgotten kind, the loneliness and emptiness and silence, the never being able to know just what others of you were like. espeically in the lands of the plaguepbringer, the goddess to whom extinction is a failure and they deserve to be forgotten.

she kidn of made up a ghypothetical imaginary friend because she's never met anothero f her species andshe's just trying to imagien what they might have been like, she took a name that she foudn carved somewhere in some ruin once and just sort of made up a hypothetical "possible average whipscale (namehere)" based on it, in an almost wry mirthlesstrauamtized humor kind of way. since she's never seen another hwipscale and hasn o idea what they were liek ro if hse's normal, she just iimagines "namehere the hypothetical average whipscale" as looking like herself but a different color or something. she doesn't like hallucinate them or actually think they exist or anything, it'sjust a person she made up and sometimes thinks about talkign to, like what they might hypothetically say, when she's contemplating what her kidn may have been like, if she's liek them at all, what they would have thought of her, what they woudl have told her to do. and just sport of generla imaginary friend thigns htta don't have to do with that too. it's in a very quiet, realisitc, meloncholic, contemplative way, not silly or hypero r cartoony, only wuiet and serious and relaisitc and slow. it's the slow quiet lonelyjourney of the endling of an extinct race through the empty plague lands and silent till ruins of and her own thoughts on their extinction.
she doesn't know if it's possible for her to have eggs withother breeds of dragon, because either none of her matings have ever produced eggs, or she has never mated at all because she simply does not find any of the still living breeds attractive andh as too much baggage about the extinction thing to be in a mental place to even consider a relationship right now anyway.
