I have no choice. I have to keep moving. As long as I don't hesitate for too long in any one place, they should struggle to reclaim me. With any luck, they'll deem me not worth it.

Shade, help me. I pray the other dragons of Sornieth are kinder to me than those of Breaking Point.

There's dragons here, a whole clan. All different... all happy... There’s a Guardian, but her children are all different species. I heard them use the word "adopted". I guess it means to be a parent but not the one you're related to? It all seems too weird, but together they all have something I don't, something I want and can't just take for myself.

I don't know how, but I want to feel this "love" again…
