Maeda the Lover
|
Journey Start!: Cave of Lost Souls ((RoiKartal)) Maeda was a traveler from the beginning, though until recently he'd never defined himself that way. He's a lover and his goal is to fall in love with as many dragons as he can, no matter the cost to life or limb. His first love was a beautiful druid enamored with nature, hidden in pastels. They liked to go on long hikes together, enjoying the wilderness. Spookya, the druid, taught Maeda about the natural world. But it couldn't last. Maeda was a plague dragon at heart, and nature was his natural enemy. They decided to part before their affection grew infected. Maeda's second lover was a shy little dragon named Lobelia. Their romance was a long, roundabout game of chase and 'will they, won't they'. Perhaps it was her reclusive nature that made her so desirable. Maeda eventually coaxed her out of hiding for a few dates, but they were two different souls, and they didn't get along as well as they thought they would. Shortly afterwards, Maeda decided to go off to see the world. Write about his Lair/Clan: Silvermoor ((Nimby)) Maeda ever the hopeless romantic chose to spend his time here hoping to meet other travelers passing through and form a connection. •Maeda hardly knew what to expect when he stepped off the docks of this small bustling town. The frantic energy buzzing through all the locals as they hurried to and fro gave him pause, and he took a moment to set aside his things and take it all in. It appeared they were trying to put on a festival of sorts, but were terribly unorganized based on how there seemed to be a unfinished projects scattered wherever he looked. He checked in for a room and pondered where he might go from here, surely there was love somewhere out there waiting for him. That evening he ended up finding himself in the midst of the festivities, he spoke with a friendly noodle peddler and listened to a musical traveler's songs. It was all so lovely he forgot about why he had come here in the first place. He had just meant to stay a day and keep traveling, but the connections he made with the other travelers here... He wanted to experience that again, for once with all these strangers it felt natural, almost like home. Maybe if he stayed he would meet more travelers, and perhaps even find love. So he decided to stay for the while and meet other passing travelers that came through this strange town. Who knows, maybe he might even warm up to the locals. •Pending + Met Cassiopeia , short and sweet romance, parted with no hard feelings + Met Gizmo , the charming snapper caught my eye with her wit and contagious laugh. I thought perhaps of pursuing her for love, but instead we became such fast friends. I told her I would like to start a perfume parlor here and she strongly encouraged me. She became a dragon I will always remember. |
