Tide

Calling The Sea of a Thousand Currents as his birthplace, Tide is a skilled user of water magic. He's had an affinity for it since his hatching, and as he grew up his talents only grew more prominent. The Wildclaw has an intuitive understanding of water, and can control it with little more than feeling, with just a hint of magic to help the process along.

In order to ensure he has a way to use his magic, Tide is always seen carrying around a jar of water with him everywhere he goes. Over time, the enchanted nature of the water has caused it to take on a life of its own, and it now manifests as a fish, which Tide has named Bubble. They've become very good friends, and Tide feels closer to Bubble than he does to any dragon in the Clan - they have a special bond together.

Due to his powers, Tide's job consists of looking after the bodies of water around the Clan territories. He often journeys between the pond, lake and swamp and ensures everything is running smoothly with the help of Bubble. He's also responsible for keeping check on the wildlife living in the waters and making sure nothing bad is happening to them. If at any point one were to try and harm or poison the water, Tide would know immediately. Thankfully, one of his skills includes purifying water, so Clan Gale Rain rarely has to worry about their supply being meddled with.

With the Wildclaw's affinity for water, he is almost never seen far from a source of it. His own house rests near the lake north of the camp, very close to the bank so that he can always enjoy the view of the surface. Because of this, he often gets to see the Clan fisher, Stream, who is also very fond of the lake. The two of them rarely converse, but often choose to silently enjoy each other's company and their shared love of the waters instead.
