▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
[ Lore ] Isiro scrawls formulas and proofs in the dirt, always pondering a new concept. She is obsessed with the study of mathematics, and is always hungry for more knowledge. Her presence is not needed in Indemnis - she provides nothing essential. But she remains a citizen purely for the enjoyment of Hylla. The queen enjoys watching how Isiro's mechanical mind works, and has begun to pick up a bit of mathematics herself. What she will do with this knowledge remains to be seen...

Isiro blinked, feeling dizzy for a moment, as she drank in the sight of Eidolon. She clutched at the rail of the traincart and peered out with trepidation. The glittering spires and masses of dragons bustling to and fro stood in sharp contrast to the slower-paced life of Indemnis. Hawkers filled the air with their clamouring cries as the railway trundled through a market square, some fluttering alongside the cart itself to peddle their wares. A silk-draped fae alighted onto her handrail, clutching a sackful of cards, each one half his size. "Hello there, got a craving for some fresh fruit?" He wiggled his fins enthusiastically at her. "Come on down to the Honeyed Garden past Dodeca Lane; you want it, we got it! Enjoy your stay!" He dropped a business card into her claws and fluttered onwards to the next cart. Isiro squinted at the smudged print and glanced back out at the square. It was fascinating; rich and colourful and too much to process right now. For all of the equations she has memorized and the countless books she has filled with her ruminations, this particular information - sight, sound, scent - was overwhelming. But it wasn't just that; the knowledge of her true purpose could not let her relax. "How will I find them?" she had asked. "They will find you," replied the Queen. "Soon enough." "But I-" "Don't worry yourself about the details. Once you enter the city, they will make it their business to locate you; your skills are equal parts an obvious asset and a possible threat." "What information do you need?" "Read this dossier and commit it to memory. Burn it before you leave for your destination. Most of this will make more sense later on. It is up to you to fill in the gaps." "...I understand." "Good. I will be watching..."
