Malachite Agate Battered Shields 		First-born son of Oriius and first to join Lacrimosa and her fledgling clan, Oriik is a force to be reckoned with.

He takes after his father in many ways. As a second generation Earth dragon, he is deeply connected to the land around him. He senses and notes the movement of the earth and is an expert navigator. He could traverse the clan's entire territory with his eyes closed, guided only by the feel of the soil and stone beneath his feet.

While not as large as Requiem, Oriik's speed and strength make him a valuable asset to the clan. Unfortunately, his impulsivity can also make him a liability. He is more likely to maintain a level head when he feels he has to protect a clanmate, and it is for this reason that Lacrimosa has put him in charge of training less-experienced dragons. He is less likely to charge head-first into the fray when he has the well-being of his clanmates to consider.

He frequently takes these fledgling dragons into the Mire, where he teaches them the basics of combat. Some of these dragons may go on to serve the Gladekeeper, so Oriik is certain to make sure that they are well prepared for their future.

His taste for combat has taken its toll, however. He bears scars from his more challenging opponents, one of which has left him blind in his right eye.

He is the clan's primary emissary to his Flight. All matters regarding the Earth Flight and its clans are handled almost exclusively by Oriik, making him powerful both politically and physically.

He smells earthy; like freshly-tilled soil.
