....QUIET · INEXPRESSIVE · DISTANT · STUBBORN · ALOOF · COLD · RESERVED Ignatius is a... Strange soul, to say the least. But not without reason. He was born into Faithful Forests as the son of Urthadar, the clan's "mad inventor". To say that Ignatius wasn't the favorite hatchling would be an understatement. Urthadar only cared for the hatchlings he had with Hanabira, and the only one that remained after their (very messy) break-up was Leende. As a result, Ignatius's father showered his elder half-sibling with every speck of his love and left Ignatius with absolutely none. Young Ignatius was socially and emotionally neglected, as no other dragon had the capability to coax him under their wing. So, Ignatius has grown up to be borderline mute. He taught himself to fight and formed a temporary team with Raven and Esmeray. With this, he found not only an outlet but a reason to live. Later on, as the clan became more structured, Ignatius's skill with the blade was recognized. He was assigned to be a slasher warrior, and it's safe to say he excels at it. In addition, the little bond between Ignatius and Esmeray grew, and eventually, they became mates. Since then, they've continued to work together, study together, and even have a son together: Itzal, a guard. Even though they're both unemotional, they seem to make it work. Ignatius finds what others would call "joy" in fighting and studying with his mate. He hates talking, though, and will avoid it as much as he can. Because of his odd ways, odd past, and odd father, Ignatius is often the victim of several rumors-- some that can go as far as bullying. No one can tell if he cares at all. But it's hard to tell if he cares about anything. |

ESMERAY .☆. MATE Ignatius and Esmeray are very similar. Neither of them show affection in the traditional manner, but they show it in their own way. Despite rarely saying it (or anything at all), Ignatius admires and respects Esmeray greatly and will always protect her. |

ITZAL .☆. SON As he is inexpressive and unemotional in general, Ignatius doesn't really express his liking for his son. Quietly, he is proud of him for becoming a strong guard, especially at such a young age. But loudly, he is absent. |
