S H Y A M A T
The Mute Shadoweaver
Swamphaunt Kelpie Friends: Zarathustra, Surtr, Rebelwave
Rival: Tayen

Shyamat was guided into the Wisp Chateau by Lakke's wisps, like many dragons before her... but there was something different about her. Something that set her apart from all the dragons who came before her. Her muteness and faceted eyes were but some notable details, but much more curious was her blessing of shadow magick, despite being an Arcane dragon. She can communicate via writing or sign language, but she refuses to speak how she gained the mastery of Shadow magic, and of her liquid shadow form. The only thing that was known of her purpose, was that she came here to be an ambassador for the Shadowbinder.

To seemingly fulfill that purpose, she took in one of the blessed children of Sentinel and Grace - Aghaveagh, training her to reach her full potential of shadow magick. But Shyamat's careful seclusion of Aghaveagh backfired upon her when another primal of the Light flight, Bathory, stole her away and founded a fully autonomous circle of Primals that spoke to the Deities directly. It was then that Shyamat's treachery was uncovered, for she was a servant of the Arcanist that wanted to sway over a Shadow primal to his will. Bathory ultimately foiled that attempt, and thus was founded a new system where each of the Primals directly spoke to their Deity, and they all had Ambassadors in each organisation in the Wisp Chateau to ensure that every Deity stays honoured and every organisation autonomous. That way, relative peace is held in the Chateau, but due to Shyamat's failed plan, she lost her contact with the Arcanist as punishment, and it was promptly handed over to Tayen, the new head of the Magick Sanctum. The other witches no longer seem to trust Shyamat much either, looking for a wind dragon to lead them instead.

Eventually, Shyamat's only choice was to go over to the Crimson Court, the only place she would be accepted. Only this court would accept the shunned.
