Looking for new pearls was never easy. Even after learning both the location and the name of the dragon keeping it, nothing was settled yet. Kairau's mission was to persuade them, no matter how.
Some of them weren't reluctant to join, believing the miracles and possibilities promised. Some were sceptical but overall not against, having nothing to lose or just being bored with their ordinary chores. Shiny bits of treasure were enough for those to listen, usually. Some dragons were ignoring Kairau, never intending to listen, but as she was skillful with reasoning and wording, they were slowly falling into her trap as well. From time to time she had to use hypnosis, speciality of hers, to make even the most stubborn individuals obey. Kairau could use it on each of them to avoid troubles and to save time, but mesmerism would always drain her and make her feel weak, the state which she hated. To solve the most difficult cases she usually relied on her physical power, and she did have enough of that. Learning the art of chasing and ambushing since young age, and mastering her dodging and agility to the extreme, she was able to win over an opponent much bigger and stronger than herself. What was happening to them afterwards was not her concern.
Assisting Foci since the earliest days of the Project, Kairau is aware that even the Founder is unsure of how this Project will end. Yet, feeling herself a part of something absolutely prodigious and inconceivable, she is ready to help no matter what it would cost her, never disdaining even the most questionable methods.
