Biography

pDACUOg.gif Tempest
Unknown

Tempest's first memory is being held by a mysterious figure, and a burning, twisting pain in his eyes.
His next memory is crying for his Father in a dark, warm cave in the royal cave system, where the two of them had been given space to stay.
He was often alone in the first years, secluded away from the clan in his Father's chambers. He wasn't aloud outside until his Father had fully impressed onto him the importance of wearing his guise at all times. Aegir rarely enforced any rules with Tempest, but that was one thing he was instant on. As he grew older, Tempest eventually learned to be grateful for it, though he resented it as a youngling.
Wearing the guise at all times made his other senses extremely acute, although he hardly needed it. He had always been able to sense other dragons and objects just fine without the use of his eyes.
Once he was let out of the rooms, he rarely returned. He grew up nearly wild, his Father distant and uncaring, and no mother in sight. The adult he trusted the most was the Clan's teacher. But he was often busy with the other hatchlings, and besides that, wary of drawing attention form Aegir.
So Tempest spent most of his time alone, often playing on the edge of the woods. His friends were the familiars that roamed freely in the lair, safe from the bigger predators that were cared for by the Menagerie Keeper. More often than not, the Keeper ended up feeding tempest as well as the familiars at feeding time. Often at feeding times, out of the corner of the Keepers's eyes, he could see a form that seemed to be keeping watch on the young hatchling. It wasn't Aegir, that much was certain, but the Keeper decided it wasn't his business. Although he didn't show it, Tempest could sense this presence too. the feeling it produced sparked memories of both love and pain.
As an adult, he rarely speaks, at least to dragons. When he does, his voice is quiet. If the listeners want to hear what he has to say they have to lean in close. And if he does speak to you, you will want to listen, as what he says is most often correct. No one, including Tempest, knows where the things he says come from, but if he says something will come to pass, it certainly will.
