Despite being the oldest, Berry is the most timid of Thorn and Blossom's first clutch. He always struggled to keep up with his rowdier, more confident siblings, and struggled to find any confidence when he couldn't be like them despite his family's encouragement.
It's probably because of this that he became so close to Beau. The confident skydancer has always done his best to help Berry find his own confidence, even when they were young, and Berry came to love him deeply for it. He eventually found he had a real penchant for storytelling.
While still shy as an adult, he's far more content with who he is. He wears everything his beloved makes for him with pride. When he's not telling stories to entertain hatchlings, he'll often go looking for materials for Beau to work with. He'll often entertain Beau with stories while Beau works.
