    A quiet, solitary dragon, Nimbus travels the world in search of knowledge that she may both keep and spread wide. Kind, generous, and fond of spending time with absolute strangers, Nimbus makes her living by tending to camps in all lands and spinning tales of both her travels and history turned into old legends. She can usually be spotted quite easily: restricted to the ground by her own volition, she wears goldenrod clothing and carries her gustgather more like a lamp than a flying aide.

    When she does occasionally return home, she works hard with the scribes and scholars to turn what she's heard and seen into ink on parchment or carvings on stone, or any other medium that would keep the knowledge from fading into obscurity. For it will, Nimbus says; the world has had its cataclysms before, and we know only what was "big" enough. What wisdom was lost, Nimbus muses, because it didn't directly contribute to the story being told?

    Along with Halcyon, Nimbus is one of the clan's foremost story-gatherers. However, Halcyon prefers stories about people's emotions and will take any scrap of information, true or not, into his narratives, while Nimbus prefers factual, if sometimes incomplete, accounts of past happenings. They get along only when they fall onto the same lead and need another dragon's help to discover more of the truth. Once everything is done, Nimbus is more than happy to leave him be in search of something more.
