Biography

At some point after saving NYZ from a fiery demise and discovering his true nature, Alex begins to contact alternate versions of himself and their offspring. Pathogen is the first of these contacted and recruited by him. Unfortunately, Path, or Patch, generally has no idea what’s going on. He did not inherit his creator’s observational skills, but is very creative and loyal. He also is useful in hive construction and stopping Alex’s bad ideas from being implemented.

He describes himself as “Alex’s long-suffering personal assistant and morality filter”. Patch and Alex also like to spar with each other in the absence of other creatures powerful enough to take either of them on.
