Nilima often perches on the edge of land, gazing out at the beautiful sea and the ships that travel it. For reasons unexplained, she can walk on water, the ocean under her feet becoming solid once she touches it. Any other dragon, however, simply falls into the sea, and she cannot carry anything more than herself. She serves as a guide to those lost at sea, although she also finds fun in leading sailors astray and watching them wholly believe every false word that comes out of her mouth. Sailors who pass by Nilima's part of the sea often take a hatchling or baby familiar aboard their ship, so she pities the sailors taking care of it and leads them in the right direction.
