Biography

The sun-dappled cobblestone walls and moss laden roof of a long shack stand out among the trees. If any building could be called a gathering place for the town, this would be it- though it’s not visually impressive on it’s own, the structures and monuments erected both within the building and on its grounds draw the residents in. It’s earned the moniker of The Sanctuary as the pearlcatcher running the building has welcomed dragons and beastclan of any faith to build a place on the grounds to follow their practices, celebrate holidays and special events, or simply to come and find peace in a stressful moment.

Treasure- the golden pearlcatcher in charge of The Sanctuary- is known as a rather anxious and tightly wound individual who while welcoming in her own right can be rather set in her routine. Most of her children have followed in Treasure’s footsteps as clerics or paladins- being taught much of different flight’s customs and deities. This eventually leads to the point of taking up the duty of exaltation. Treasure sees her children off proudly, left oftentimes with only small mementos from them, which she keeps in her personal quarters.

While she can be found around town running errands and picking up supplies she’s more often seen tending to the shrines and monuments. Though what has earned her the most respect is her willingness to speak with the different beings who come to The Sanctuary for respite about their culture and beliefs. Whether they be dragon or not, Treasure is always willing to learn more, soaking up the knowledge like a sponge. She makes it loudly clear that she takes particular offense to any party trying to pick a fight on her grounds, and doesn’t care for who’s great grandfather’s cousin has an issue with whom, or who got into a fight at what bar. Because of this an unspoken rule floats among the community that her land is an area to leave conflict at the door, and it is more often than not respected.
