"Brute strength ain't always where its at, folks. Sometimes you gotta get a little tricky, dazzle the crowd and all that. If the crowd is just them, then well, a confused target is an easier target." - - • - - - • - - - • - - |

His fortunes changed when a fellow former mercenary, Porcelain, invited him to visit Mossgarde, where she had decided to settle down. Though the two weren't close, they shared a similar plight in wanting to be done with wandering . He knew she'd been in Dragonhome a lot working with a group, and it was that group she had decided to settle down with when they had moved to the Viridian Labyrinth. He wasn't sure about it at first, as Mossgarde did not have a very high population of his own kind. Terra accompanied him out of curiosity, as she recognised one of the names in Porcelain's letter - 'Envy'. Havoc had heard of Envy by reputation and figured it might be fun to challenge her to a duel, since his one friend didn't seem to have a high opinion of her. He lost, of course, but he did find a home. It wasn't the fight that saw to that, but Margot. The Auraboa warned Havoc that he was going to lose, and instead of reminding him of that when his neck was pinned to the ground, she approached him with a sparkle in her eye and commented she hadn't seen magic performed with such a flourish since she had left home; she also told him that fancy wasn't going to win fights against the elite fighters of Mossgarde, but next time they could tag-team and it might be a more even fight. Havoc recognised in that moment that he had found himself another friend, and decided to hang around for a while, offering his services to assist in protecting the borders. Whilst some were doubtful of if letting him stay was a good idea, Margot said she would keep an eye on him and that was that.
