"i'll save my kingdom, and restore it to what it once was. however small i started, i'll return glory to the quartz kingdom. i won't give up... all i have to hope for is that hellbent and wrathful will soon see that it's not royalty that matters, but a good heart."

florence is the prince of the quartz kingdom, and the sole royalblooded survivor. his father deliberately sent his egg away with hellbent and wrathful, so that a new king may rebuild the kingdom where his older father couldn't. florence, originally named karat before he hatched, had his name changed to something less sparkly to hide his identity, and was taken into hiding with the other 15-ish survivors that fled with his egg. upon florence's hatching he met his two current close friends and handservants, pikwee and spacetime, and his caretakers wrathful and hellbent. though at first unaware of their wicked plans, it was his friends who warned him. he now hopes to restore the kingdom and strengthen it, before he has to face hellbent or wrathful.

familiar- PHILOWYTH

a small, yet powerful and clever bird who is a keen tailor, and a quick trickster. often able to snag small objects from behind dragon's backs, and spy on people, she's obedient and very loyal to florence. her species is tied to the geode kingdom's royal hierarchy- every single time someone of royal geode blood is hatched, one of their kind is called forth and soul-bonded with the new hatchling, where they then become the forever companion.
