Erato trained to be a Dancer from the time she could walk, wanting so badly to be apart of something with such a good history, as she trained she met one of the house males, Klaus, and felt herself smitten. he was handsome and hard working, but she became his friend quickly and she contented herself to focus on her training, knowing there would be time for flirting and impressing a male later.Intelligent | Dedicated | Graceful ━━━◇━━━

Erato soon forgot her infatuation as training became more difficult, Klaus became her confidant and the one she vented to. She found friends while she trained and rivalries as well although she did not let friendships or rivalries get in the way of her becoming one of the best Dancers in the house. She soon grew into a lovely young adolescent and became a dancer she was sent on various jobs and exceeded the expectation of the more experienced Dancers. her successes were celebrated, usually in private, by Klaus and herself when she returned to the House, her excitement never subsided when she finished a job without a hitch. Training was dull at times and she often found Klaus a welcome distraction, bringing lunch and drinks to where ever they were training and chattering a bit with her. it didn't take long for her infatuation to come back with a vengeance and turn her into a bashful mess around him, much to the delight of her friends. Soon enough she was a full Dancer of the House and Klaus was her mate, traveling to different jobs with him became something she looked forward to. they saw new things and met new dragons while on her job, it was something she, as a sheltered Dancer, had never experienced and Klaus, as a servant, rarely left the house without her. It wasn't long before she and Klaus were expecting a nest and their hatchlings were trained and sent on their way, those that survived their first mission, Erato was proud of her hatchlings and looked forward to their return each festival. |

Erato was given a job to kill a Houseless and felt confidant she could handle it on her own, if she had known who her target was she would have refused. Her youngest daughter, Eve, had become Houseless after an accusation of betrayal, it was something she knew could happen yet something she had hoped wouldn't. Eve had been close to her, close enough that Erato had trained her personally which also meant Erato felt confidant that she would be able to tell if Eve had done something horrible. Finding her daughter had been easy, then fight had been harder and watching her daughter lay on the ground, bloodied and bruised, was nearly more than she could stand. they talked and the more they talked the more Erato was sure Eve had not betrayed the house, finally Erato stepped away and looked at the younger "Run, do not return to the House. Ever." |

When Erato returned to the house there were whispers and she was sure it had already reached the Head of the house. she felt anxiety spike as she and Klaus walked to their fate, she hated having dragged him down with her and thought of their two sons now taken in by other dancers. Colette looked sad as they walked in, but listened to her tale patiently before telling her she would exiled, she would not be welcomed back, however before she let the other dancers loose to hunt her she would wait a day and if Erato found a clan and kept her mouth shut she would be left alive for now. They ran and found a place to hide not trusting an assassin's word that they had a head start, Klaus found a place for them to rest and hide and left her there to go find supplies. it felt like ages before he returned to her with food and clothing 'donated' by some kind travelers, they wore the cloths and rested before running again. They stayed the night in clans once in awhile but always left after a day, never staying in one place too long for fear of being found. it didn't take long before they found their daughter again, Eve was over joyed to see them and happily took them to her camp and introduced them to her friend, a summer fae named Aelius. Eve and Aelius took them to a clan that worked closely with the black market, the leader was warm and welcoming, more concerned with the well being and happiness of her clan mates than she was turning a profit. it was quiet although finding that Colette's children lived there as well set her on edge for a few days. As it turned out neither of Colette's children remembered her or Klaus and although Erato still avoided the Tavern and gave false names for herself and Klaus they were kind enough. Erato found a talent making jewelry and opened a small shop although she still takes assassination jobs, she just makes sure to stay out of any Blood Moon Dancer's way. |
