This mysterious trinket arrived by special messenger and showed up one day on his work table. It's shape was a pumpkin which reminded him of autumn his favorite time of year. In it was pen and ink bottle (which reminded him that the lair came to be based on stories of past times that were reimagined for a dragon audience, a book of scary stories (the origin stories) and an earth rune stone representing the flight that he may not have been born into but where his heart and family resided. It was a gift of the heart.






Lore origin story needed: parents are both imperials but he became a gaoler.

Freya's and his daughter Doomsinger, went off as a young dragonnette to X88B88B8Il's lair to start a new life. She was always a morose and quiet child who kept to herself. She discovered music and taught herself to play the harp and guitar. She began to write her own songs which were both humorous and clever. The clan loved her. She could find humor in even the saddest situations. She decided she needed more scope for her music so she decided to travel. Her first place was X88B88B8II's lair. She had only intended to stay for a little while and then travel on. They loved her in her new lair for the songs and stories she told. Then a mysterious illness flashed through the lair. Many became sick and died. Doomsinger eased their dying pain with silly songs. Then she became sick. Hers was a wasting sickness that slowly sapped her strength. She fought to live and continued to play her songs and tell her stories until she became too weak. Her final wish was to see her parents one last time. X88B88B8II's elders flew her back home with an honor guard to fulfill her dying wish. She was able to see her parents before she passed on. RIP 12/9/19

Two of Doomsinger's honor guard from X88B88B8II'S lair had unwittingly brought the plague with them and succumbed the same day as Doomsinger. There bodies were burned along with Doomsinger's at fire table and their ashes buried in jars within a special section of the underground crypt in an effort to contain the contagion.
