The maren warrior whispered the enchanting words as she placed her tail on the Bogsneak egg. The dragons who had tormented her family and killed her lover would pay. The dragonet in this egg would bear the marks of the Beast Blooded, and would submit to the mighty maren warriors.

She did not expect that the union of Beast Blood and Dragon blood would cause such an odd appearance in the dragon. No, this was no dragon. A Siren, a monster, but not a dragon.
