Ambros

Ambros' life was supposed to be easy- it was supposed to be.

Born to a wealthy family of not so much good as middling (read: not a threat to anyone, thus no danger) reputation, with a sister much smarter and more organized than he was, Ambros was content to let his younger sibling run the family business while he did whatever he wanted. He was fine with not being the head of house for the most part, showing his overly toothy and somewhat petulant smile when needed, always the back up to his sister. Mostly because he didn't like work, partially because yeah, still, he would throw his hat in the ring if she got testy because that was a fight needed for social standing or literally needed. She always knew when the stakes were just high enough.

He trusted her. She was the one who would keep everything steady and he could coast along on the wake she created. They worked well together; not the twins of birth but by accident and chance, their gifts complementary and boosting....it was supposed to be so easy.

But she failed- she failed everything, from their family to him.

And he's angry about it.
