Arthur

Arthur is a noble son of a prominent Light clan, the latest in a long line of aristocratic twits. His major hobbies are cocktails, games with small brightly-colored balls, music- mostly showtunes- and chatting with anyone friendly and polite enough to engage with him. His job essentially amounts to doing all of these things at various diplomatic functions.

He's very, very sweet, and very, very simple, and Seagram adores him from the bottom of her sly, spiny heart, no matter where she may go or who she may flirt with.

A very few, unusually thoughtful people have noted that appearing to be guileless and stupid means that people feel comfortable talking to you about nearly anything, and that powerful, arrogant people particularly love to have someone to ramble at and brag to because they can show off their power and brilliance to someone they assume is far too dim and sheltered to understand the significance or consequence of what they're saying.
