The Exultant Order is not picky about those they absorb into their ranks. Whether for converts, ransoms or sacrifices, their thirst for new blood is seemingly inexhaustible—and though many of their acquisitions come from battle and subjugation, they don't turn away those who end up in their territory through less... conventional means.

Thus, when an unfamiliar Skydancer was found wandering the Charged Barrens, dying of thirst and delirious, the Exultant Order didn't hesitate to bring her to their dungeons to decide her fate. Her markings designated her as auspicious and thus she would be spared; still, with her wits still in disarray after her long sojourn in the desert, it would be some time before she would regain enough of herself to be of any use.

Gradually, her story began to emerge: her name was Roxy and she had been the captain of a smuggling ship, operating out of Churnscar Wharf. It had been a profitable enterprise for years, but unfortunately, Roxy's greed would eventually get the better of her. She had taken on a job to transport a ritual talisman of the Tidelord or a wealthy collector, ignoring the sailor's taboo against stealing from the sea god. Not wanting to perturb her crew, she lied about the contents of their cargo, thinking it would be only a short trip from the Wharf to the drop-off point at the Blight Sanctum. However, only a couple of days after departing, her and her crew found themselves stranded on a becalmed sea.

As the stillness stretched on for days without reprieve, tensions ran high. Realizing they were under the Tidelord's curse, Roxy eventually confessed the truth about their cargo to her crew, who, desperate to appease the sea god's wrath, threw both her and the talisman from the ship, to be returned to the Tidelord's domain. She would later wash up on the coast of the Highland Scrub, from where she would wander inland, until eventually collapsing on the outskirts of the Order's territory.

Once she had recovered her senses, Roxy was offered a place within the Order and, having nowhere else to go, she accepted. Her brush with death has left her weaker than she was before and without the same taste for adventure. Now, she contributes to her new clan as a seller of potions, perfumes, and poisons, brewed by her companion Sevim. She never strays far from the Order's territory, fearful as she is now of both the open desert and the open sea.
