Biography

To some people, if it doesn't taste nasty it's not medicine. If it doesn't come in a big needle and hurt going in, it's not really going to do anything. If the doctor doesn't look like they're idly considering cutting you open to study, they don't really know what they're doing.

JD and Koola are the healers for those in the lair who'd prefer a gentle touch or a kind word, or at least a pragmatic one. Xuannu is for the OTHER kind of patient.

It wouldn't be accurate to say she's really a very nice lady underneath the grim regalia. She's not. She's also not actually mean or deliberately cruel, but her words would cut as they got to the point regardless.

You'll be healthier after she's done with you. With a nasty taste in your mouth to wash down, metaphorically or not, but better off.
