Biography

From Zetore's Egg Vault Auction for 405g in a bidding war

Only active dragon (1/3 ever) with these colors! :)

A genius and eccentric painter, Chroma's world is filled with color. While painting, there's an intensity in his manner, a burning passion in his eyes and carpus as he fills the canvas with bold heavy strokes. It seems as if every piece he gives life to is unique, abstract, and brilliant.

Ever since he was a young hatchling born alone in the merciless Wyrmwound, he'd always seen the world differently than others and had this desire to create that couldn't be quenched. As soon as he was old enough to venture on his own, Chroma went to find the painters who inspired him the most and studied under them. He quickly developed his own impressionistic style that was raw, vibrant, and daring and once he felt ready, went on his way.

Since then, he's been traveling around Sornieth and painting everything that inspired him. Within a year, his works became acclaimed and he passed into the master tier of artists, one of the youngest to achieve that fame in a long time. While swimming in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, he saw a uniquely structured lair with a huge underwater courtyard and investigated further for a tour. Rojo, the interior designer, showed him around and Chroma was impressed the mastery of the layout and decorations. He felt totally at home in such a creative space and asked if he could stay for a bit.

Chroma became good friends with Rojo, something he never thought possible before due to his solitary nature. When his extended stay was up, Rojo never commented about it and Chroma never packed up his supplies, and so it came to pass that Chroma stayed in the lair for good and became part of the Clan of Shifting Tides. Chroma continues to churn out art and even though he sometimes leaves on the whim of whatever artistic vision he's had, he always comes back because for the first time, he'd found his home.
