About
Velasco vaguely remembers the night he became a vampire, what he remembers most of that night wasn't the pain or his sire, but the night sky, with the moon partly hidden behind the dark clouds.

He would love nothing more than to hole up in his lonely lighthouse on the cape and spend the rest of time huddled up at his desk, reading and writing. But, the loneliness does get to him: so he'll either attend the parties at the Hallow Hall, or shift between the bookshelves of the Grand Library from time to time, always polite to the folk who he shares his home with. Sometimes he'll entertain visitors, but seldom do they visit him these days

Extras

I imagine this character as an older vampire, not quite old enough to become eccentric and move past the concept of immortality, but not young enough to revel in his powers and longevity. He has seen loved ones come and go and has witnessed more pain than he would like. He has developed a distaste for his own kind and humanity and has decided to live a life of solitude, or at least take a break from society.

Like many vampires his age or in this phase of immortality, he has retired himself to a secluded home. But rather than an extravagant castle or a cabin far off in the woods, he has chosen something unconventional: A lighthouse. A place no one would look for one of his kind, vampires and running water don't mix very well. A convenient job that only requires him to operate in the night time. He has hidden himself away from the world in his small tower and has not been seen outside it for many years.

He spends many of his evenings reading, the inside of the lighthouse looks much like a makeshift library. He wears a lot of sweaters to combat the damp and frigid night air. While he does enjoy his solitude, he has found himself becoming lonely as of late. He has found himself taking trips to the port by the lighthouse, sometimes to speak to the local fisherman and sometimes to just watch the boats as they come and go. While he doesn't feel ready to return to a life of a regular and present citizen, he knows he needs something, or someone, in his life.
