An empty mall. An usually bustling place where people meet up and run their errands and so much more, missing its life.
An airport. A place of transit, you are not meant to be there for long.

Can you imagine others? My favourite is imagining a chemistry laboratory, but at night. Empty, without supervision or purpose. I am out of place, but when am I ever not?

Have you looked past your path? Further ahead than just right ahead of you? Have you seen a lanky figure following you?
His fur lacks any sheen. Light seems to sink deep into him, but also emanate from his form.

Haunting? But he keeps his distance...

At times it feels like worlds collide.

Splintering like glass, splinters piercing the soft surroundings.

Guarding? But he seems to not to care about you...

At times it feels like I am looking in a mirror, but everything's amiss.

At times I want to shatter it.

I look straight ahead again, down to my feet. It is none of my business. Quickened pace, soon to enter place more meant for me.
