Biography

Role: Forger, Brewmaster (Tea, coffee, cocoa)

Personality: While unable to communicate with most of the other dragons in the lair, Mocha has a warm heart that can melt even the coldest dragon. She is generally revered as a rather wise dragon who is always ready to give advice to dragons who need it.

Lore: Mocha was born deep in Dragonhome and given the name due to her rich, brown scales and feathers which reminded her parents of a delicious drink. From her birth she always had a deep love of nature, specifically herbs and spices. She would follow around the forgers and ask about the little plants that grew naturally in the arid desert. Knowing that her curiosity would never be satisfied in Dragonhome where few plants grew, they brought her to the edge of the Viridian Labyrinth. She was left to the wilds on her own. She studied the many different types of plants and carefully observed which ones were deadly and which ones were edible. Though she could not eat the plants she gathered, she wanted to know what they tasted like. At night, she started to boil the leaves, nuts, berries, and whatever else she could find in the water she collected in a turtle shell. She tried many different blends of plants, observing the tastes, which ones were appealing and which ones were not as successful. She wrote down all her observations on stones she had brought from Dragonhome. She began to travel further and further into the Labyrinth of trees.

Months later, she entered the domain of the Plagueguard Clan. They welcomed her with open wings since she was a traveler with no place to go. Around the hearth, she brewed them tea in her turtle shell kettle. She and the other dragons talked deep into the night until the fire long died down. It was then she decided that this is where she belonged. She was in a place with dragons with kind hearts and a place she could brew her tea. She grew to be very good friends with many of the dragons, and the Denmother, despite not being able to communicate.
