OverlordPotato's Clan

Deep in the Viridian Labyrinth, a small, lonely tree spirit walked the maze of trees. Many of the other spirits had become Denmothers or Denfathers to a group of dragons they could call their family. The spirit was jealous, but patient. She knew in her heart one day she would become a Denmother one day. She spent many of her days praying to the Gladekeeper, asking for a hatchling, or even just an egg that she could call her own. Days, weeks, months passed. Patiently she waited for the day she would become a Denmother.

It had been about a year and the spirit walked along the river. There at the banks rested two eggs. She rushed to the eggs. Many of the spirits warned her that those eggs were as good as dead, and nothing would hatch from them. They had been plagued by disease. The spirit touched the hard shells and she felt life growing from the two eggs. Ignoring the other spirits and their warnings, she took the eggs deeper into the forest. She began clearing out spaces for the eggs and making an appropriate nest. She kept them warm and protected them from thieves and monsters. Days later, the two eggs hatched. She named the two guardian hatchlings Zerelth and Kelirth, her two first dragons.

The two grew quickly, gaining strength every day. They grew to accept her as their mother, and swore to protect her for everything she had done for them. They became a family. Though the family did not remain that small. Soon they began to take in more and more dragons, accepting them and keeping them fed and safe. These dragons became their family and together, the family formed the Plagueguard Clan.

This is the Plagueguard Clan, protectors of the forest and keepers of peace. We are sworn to protect those in need, and extend a wing to those who need our help. We ward off the vile plague and keep our dragons safe. For the Glory of the Gladekeeper.
