Biography

Orpheus
Poet + Archivist
zjBeEJR.png
As a hatchling, Orpheus had always looked up to archivists and writers, and loved learning the history of Sorneith. He often wrote stories, however low quality, to himself about dragons of different territories based on his visionaries. If you asked him what dragon he'd want to be other than Skydancer, he'd beam and say the word "Snapper" faster than a Spiral can fly. His imagination occasionally got the better of him, though, and sometimes he'd go the entire day without sleep, or sometimes food.

When he grew older, his ambition only grew more ravenous. Eventually, he left his home to explore. He quickly learned that his visionaries of different territories were far different from the real world. One day, he decided to travel to Starfall Isles, wondering what he'd find, as usual. Orpheus, among other things, discovered the Clan of Sparrows' Wings, which caught his attention faster than lightning. He was accepted into the clan, and got straight to writing. Orpheus took the role of archivist, but sometimes took time for himself to write poems or stories.
Around the same time he joined, he met a Snapper named Hyacinth, who had near as much interest in stories as Orpheus. They quickly bonded, and Citrine agreed to let them work together in the clan's archives.

Quote:
As an archivist, Orpheus is quick and effective. He always gets his work done in a timely manner. Which is a surprise to many, since he is usually seen reading something. But that's actually part of the reason why he is so effective. Orpheus knows the tomes in the archives like the back of his hand. He knows which text belongs where exactly, and he can point you to whatever it is you need.

Often times dragons come in with vague descriptions of what they're looking for. Like, really vague. They might be describing the tiniest detail the cover of a book has. But Orpheus still somehow always manages to know just what he's being asked to find. It's like a superpower.
