Biography
Alya
The Star Speaker |
|
B I O G R A P H Y
She could feel things that other dragons couldn't. Every time the sun would sleep and bring out the moon, the stars would sing to her. Each one would wink and whisper their greetings, and she could understand them. Her eyes also studded with stars would watch intensely for hours on end throughout the whole night, watching and listening to what the night sky had to say. Each night, it was something different. Almost like they were trying to guide her, trying to tell her of her destiny. "I'm listening. I always have been," She'd whisper back, almost fearful that the stars would believe she wasn't. But one thing that they seemed to tell her was consistent. 'You are soon to become the leader of a clan that needs direction. A clan filled with dragons from all over, with their own stories and lives. You will become their guide. You will bring greatness to these dragons.' |

Finally she had found them. A rather small group of dragons, mostly Guardians, lost and seeking help. None of them knew how to run a clan. No one knew how to take charge. "Do not fret," Alya's voice of silk rung out, her rather small form of violet stars landing upon the soil of the Star Wood Strand, "the stars have led me here. This is my destiny. They told me I was to help a clan that was lost in the dark. My heart tells me I have found it." The Guardians, a bit apprehensive of this strange Skydancer that spoke of hearing the stars speak to her, soon agreed and allowed for her to reform what little they had. And they were glad they did. Alya did what these Guardians couldn't. She was a strong leader. She allowed for anyone to join the clan (for the most part...). She helped guide those who were lost. She got advice from the stars. She even elected a co-leader, named Eclipse, to help run things when she needed to have lengthy conversations with the stars (sometimes lasting days or weeks on end). Donned in starsilks given from her clanmates as presents for her leadership, and even receiving a comet as a present from the stars themselves, Alya continues to guide the Clan of the Starseers into a bright future. One where other seers like her can awaken their true potential and become connected with the stars. |
